Richard and Deborah Kies have a combined sixty years in the leadership, communications, fundraising, and marketing fields. Their complimentary skill set make them an ideal team to work with to for your communications, fundraising, and leadership needs.
More About Deborah
Deborah, has over 30 years of diverse work experience in marketing, communication, public relations, event management, and fundraising. Deborah has experience in the private, not-for-profit, and federal government sectors, and as an entrepreneur where she operated a small business in Saskatoon prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Deborah’s non-profit sector experience includes working for the United Way of Saskatoon & Area, Core Neighbourhood Youth Co-op and most recently, Lung Saskatchewan where she created and grew the marketing and fundraising team. Over the 6 years with this organization saw an organizational rebrand, development of new fundraising events, and growth in all fund development areas, particularly the direct mail and raffle programs.
Her superior communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are hallmarks of her varied business background. Deborah is skilled multi-tasker with a demonstrated ability to handle a multitude of details, problem-solve, and deliver results under pressure.

Through various roles with organizations such as the Canadian Red Cross, Kinsmen Foundation, and Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, I’ve been part of raising over $50 million for charitable campaigns, appeals, and programs.
I hold two Professional Designations in communications: SCMP – Strategic Communications Management Professional from the Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC); and ABC – Accredited Business Communicator from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
